Mom Always Said

Mom always said:
"Put your best foot forward."
She always said:
"Make a good first impression."
Well Mom,
I'm not so good at that.
I'm wild.
I'm crazy.
And when I am trying to make friends with the new kid,
Out spills my teachers,
Out spills Ann Coulter,
Out spills Dad.
I'm not so sure what to do.
I can't be sane.
I can't pretend.
So,
I guess I can't make new friends.
At least,
Not friends with ordinary people.
