I'd forgotten
How I like to perform.
How in dancing
I cease to be
And it's all one big play
Where the audience doesn't know me
Can't know me.
I'd forgotten
How dancing makes me forget.
The worries are gone
And will not rush back
In after I am done.
They will linger on the edges
Of perception banished by exhilaration.
I'd forgotten
Confidence.
But I have found it again.
